PostSubject: Gay Marriage?   Fri Nov 20, 2009 1:12 am

It seems that America, by and large, doesn't favor the concept. I think there is a very wide acceptance of homos generally in the US. They get a few swats, but overall I don't think most Americans want them treated as pariahs. Euros are likely even more tolerant.

But allowing a homosexual union to labeled "marriage" apparently goes against the grain. All eleven states where the question was presented on 11/2/2004 voted to disallow homosexual marriage.

Where do you stand?

Homosexuality is becoming more and more accepted as younger generations begin to take over as the decision makers and backbone of this country. To me I think it was the old fashion population that really frowned upon Homosexuality.

Personally I think they should be able to marry. All of the politicians want to start quoting things from the bible and say that it is morally wrong to allow them to marry in a state and federal status.

Lest we not forget...the statement, "Church and State will not mix!" This is a prime example of Church and State becoming together.

Let 'em marry!
