Quote:

CANBERRA (Reuters) – An elderly man who went out to fetch a morning newspaper ended up driving nearly 400 miles after getting lost and taking a wrong turn onto a major Australian highway, police said on Wednesday. The man, 81-year-old Eric Steward, eventually stopped and asked for directions after driving for nine hours, from the New South Wales country town of Yass to Geelong in the southern Victoria state.

Steward, who did not know where he was, eventually ...

How do you feel about it?

Me personally, still growing up in a Christian home, I can still ignore the Bible for a second and realize homosexuals are people, too, regardless of what the Bible says about them. It is their lifestyle, and if they themselves are Christians, they will need to make the choice ...

Gay Marriage?

It seems that America, by and large, doesn't favor the concept. I think there is a very wide acceptance of homos generally in the US. They get a few swats, but overall I don't think most Americans want them treated as pariahs. Euros are likely even more tolerant.

But allowing a homosexual union to labeled "marriage" apparently goes against the grain. All eleven states where the question was presented on 11/2/2004 voted to disallow homosexual marriage.

Where do you stand?

I have a couple questions about holidays.

If you do not celebrate and participate in holidays, then this won't apply to you.

This should apply to religious people who believe in God that celebrate it, and hypocritical atheists who celebrate it or do not speak out and oppose holidays.

1. Why do you celebrate Christmas? The bible does not say Jesus was born on December 25th. Neither did Jesus tell his disciples to celebrate the day he was born.

Before I go to this next question, ...

Okay so I was doing this on another forum and it is lots of fun. What you have to do is post an image that beats the image that was posted before it. For example somebody could post a glass and the next person could post a hammer, fire, etc. One thing to note is that you should try and only use fire when you absolutely cannot think of anything else cause it does get over used easily.

So I guess I'll start..

Yet since Neil Armstrong set foot on the Moon on 22nd July 1969 man’s conquest of space has slowed. The issue of abortion is one of the most contentious, and emotive dilemmas faced by modern societies. The question is whether one should allow the termination of a child whilst it is in its mother’s womb. For some, the question is even more fundamental: at what stage is the foetus in the womb to be regarded as a child? At conception? At birth? Or, maybe somewhere between.
